Where are all of the Liberal Millionaires? Where is the Remain Party? And can we form a Young Party?

Jeremy Hoskin, Brexiteer is the latest large donor to hit the headlines, but where is all of the left-wing lolly?

Surely there must be some liberal millionaires out there? Plenty of artists, actors and musicians will lean to the left, all we need is a few hundred thousand quid to form yet another party, as the old guard disintegrates.

We could go for a single issue too, let’s call it the Remain Party. “That’s the Lib Dems” I hear you cry, but it isn’t. A single issue party needs a clear name and brand to really help people to not have to think too hard about anything. And the Lib Dems still carry a lot of baggage after their treachery.

Or perhaps we should form the Young Party. Because it is the majority of young people today that seem to have the best grasp on what is really important. (If you’re young at heart, then you are one of us!). And it is they (dare I say us) who will be most affected by the outcomes of the current chaos.

I’d happily lead it if we had the cash. I’ve no real experience of politics, so that should guarantee my popularity. And, unlike the wiley Mr Farage, I’m genuinely not part of the establishment. I think I’m quite nice, balanced, empathetic and honest. I don’t believe that people are stupid or evil, rather they are who they are as a result of their experiences and influences in life. Sadly, very often because of the way the world is today, those experiences and influences aren’t great. I would try incredibly hard to tell the truth, and not be frightened to say “I don’t know”. Perhaps most importantly I would often ask “what do you think?” And I would actually listen to the answers.

So there you go. Vote for me. How could you possibly think it wouldn’t be a good idea?
